GRIFFITH, Ind. (AP) — A shooting at a home in Northwest Indiana has left three men dead, a sheriff said.
Lake County sheriff’s police sent Friday afternoon to a home in Griffith found two men dead and a third in critical condition, all having suffered gunshot wounds, Lake County Sheriff Oscar Martinez Jr. said.
The third man was taken to a hospital, where he died, Martinez said
Police are investigating several scenarios, including whether or not the incident was a murder-suicide, Martinez said.
Richard Yarchan said he was driving by when he saw a person run out of the house and a man following him fire two or three shots.
“He shot him in the back,” Yarchan told The Times of Northwest Indiana.
The gunman ran back inside, and Yarchan said he heard more gunshots.
